Definitions:
1ST COUSIN - shares at least one of the same grandparents
2ND COUSIN - shares at least one of the same great-grandparents
3RD COUSIN - shares at least one of the same great-great grandparents
HALF - means you share only one parent, i.e. same father but different mother
STEP - not blood kin, but a close legal relationship due to re-marriage of a parent
IN-LAW - not blood kin, but married blood kin
REMOVED - means the common ancestors are from different generations
DOUBLE 1ST COUSIN - 1st cousins twice, i.e. father's sibling married mother's sibling
KITH - friends and aquaintances
KIN - blood relatives, or someone treated as such (in-law)
